Supreme Scaffolding before switching to WorkWeek

"Before WorkWeek we would hope and pray that timesheets were accurate. But we knew that they were not reliable."

Before using WorkWeek, we were tracking all employee time using manual timesheets. With timesheets in use, we had no way of ensuring the validity and accuracy of the time logs written down. We would hope and pray that the timesheets from the site were accurate. But we knew that they were not reliable.

On Mondays, I would spend half the day manually capturing all the timesheets from the previous week into excel. I then had to print new timesheets and distribute them to each site. This process was inefficient and inaccurate. We just knew that it needed to change ASAP!

• We have employees moving around to multiple different sites everyday. So a biometrics system was not an option for us because of the mobility of our team.

How WorkWeek is helping Supreme Scaffolding

We have loaded WorkWeek onto all of our supervisors' phones. This allows supervisors to simply take a picture of employees when they arrive on the site and WorkWeek does the rest.

As Head of Payroll, I can now see when employees arrive at each site, in real-time. I can view hours worked and I receive the necessary data for the Building Industry Bargaining Council (BIBC) and wage calculations straight from my WorkWeek dashboard.

We are definitely seeing a difference in cost savings. Now, with accurate timesheets, we can get a full picture of how much sites, and labour, are actually costing us.We even have employees arriving at work earlier these days!

The employees are more proactive and are motivated to arrive early and work harder - they know that this relates to more wages due to the accuracy of the WorkWeek system.
